Owner and CEO of Flora Physical Therapy, a woman-owned cash-based practice in Durham serving the Triangle (Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Hillsborough); Virginia Tech BS (2014), Northwestern Feinberg DPT (2018), then two years in Northwestern Medicine's Women's Integrated Pelvic Health Program, a Women's Health residency at Duke Health, and two further years at Duke as a Clinical Specialist in pelvic floor, lymphedema, and oncologic PT before founding Flora; residency-trained and dual board-certified (WCS + PRPC) plus Certified Lymphedema Therapist and dry needling (including pelvic floor dry needling); founded the practice after her mother died in 2013 from breast cancer having lived with untreated post-treatment impairments, and after her own pregnancy complications; explicitly inclusive practice treating all genders, ages, LGBTQIA+ patients, and pediatric pelvic floor; every appointment is a full hour one-on-one with her, with no hand-off to an aide or tech.
