Scheuermann's kyphosis is a structural, more rigid rounding of the upper back that typically develops during the teenage growth years, unlike flexible "slouching." What is Scheuermann's kyphosis?
It's a structural increase in the upper-back curve from changes in vertebral shape during growth, making the rounding more fixed than ordinary posture.
Symptoms
